1. Purpose
These terms define the conditions and procedures for using the App and its services, and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Developer and users.
2. Definitions
- "User": a person who installs and uses the App under these terms
- "Studio photo": a photo made by AI from a photo the user takes or chooses, with lighting, background, and grooming refined to look like it was taken in a studio
- "Original": the photo the user takes or chooses to make a studio photo
- "Preview": a watermarked studio photo shown before payment
- "Final photo": the unwatermarked studio photo received after payment
- "Resize only": cropping and resizing ordinary photos without retouching (runs on the device only)
3. Effect and changes
- These terms take effect when the user installs or uses the App.
- The Developer may change these terms within the limits of applicable law, announcing changes in the App or on this page at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).
- If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using and delete the App. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
4. The service
- The App makes studio photos for résumés and profiles, shows them as previews, and delivers final photos after payment.
- Resize only is free and does not send photos to the server.
Not for official ID photos. Studio photos are edited with AI and cannot be used for passports, visas, national ID cards, driver's licenses, or other official IDs; many authorities reject such photos. Check the requirements of wherever you submit a résumé photo. The app does not provide official-document menus or specifications.
5. Conditions of use
- The App is for users aged 14 and older. Photos of children under 14 must be made by their legal guardian.
- Free previews are offered within the number of new photos per day and edits per photo shown in the App. Limits may change or be paused depending on costs and operations.
- The free trial is offered per device within set limits and does not reset when the App is reinstalled.
6. Photos and rights
- Upload only photos of yourself or of people who have agreed. You are responsible for problems caused by uploading someone else's photo without consent.
- You keep the rights to your originals. The Developer processes originals only as needed to make and deliver studio photos, and never uses originals or results for AI training, advertising, promotion, or other purposes.
- The Developer claims no rights to your final photos. You may use them freely for personal and professional purposes such as résumés and profiles.
- Rights to the App's screens, text, design, and software belong to the Developer.
7. Prohibited conduct
Users must not do any of the following. If such conduct is found, the Developer may restrict use of the service.
- Uploading another person's photo without consent
- Using results to impersonate someone, or to forge or alter IDs or official documents
- Uploading illegal, obscene, or violent photos, or photos that treat children inappropriately
- Trying to remove watermarks, bypassing free-trial or purchase checks, or sending automated bulk requests
- Reverse engineering the App or server, or disrupting normal operation
- Reselling the service or results without the Developer's permission
8. Paid service and payment
- Payments are made through Apple App Store in-app purchase. Prices are shown in the App and on the App Store payment sheet; currency and taxes follow your App Store country or region.
- Each payment is a one-time purchase for one photo, not a subscription.
- After payment you receive the results made from that photo as unwatermarked final photos, and if an edit remains, you can make one more without a watermark.
- On days when free previews are unavailable, you can pay first and make the final photo right away.
9. Quality and limits of results
- Studio photos are made by AI, so each one differs a little, and details of the face, hair, or clothes may look different from the original. Please check the preview carefully before paying.
- If a technical error prevents you from getting a result, that attempt is returned to you.
- The Developer does not guarantee that results meet any particular submission rules or achieve any particular goal, such as employment.
10. Retention and deletion
- Photos and results on the server are deleted after the periods in the Privacy Policy (at most 7 days).
- Originals and final photos are stored on your device and in your own iCloud Drive. Photos lost from your device after the server retention period cannot be downloaded again.
- Deleting a photo in "My Photos" deletes the server copy immediately. Free attempts used on a deleted photo are not restored.
11. Cancellation and refunds
- Payments and refunds follow Apple's policies, and refunds are requested from Apple directly (reportaproblem.apple.com). The Developer does not take payments or issue refunds directly.
- Once you receive a final photo, delivery of digital content has begun, so withdrawal may be limited under the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- If you paid but did not receive the final photo, or the result has a technical problem, please contact us. We will help you receive it or guide you to request a refund from Apple. We do not make a different result of the same photo as a replacement.
- If Apple approves a refund, the final photo for that photo can no longer be downloaded. Photos already saved on your device are not deleted.
12. Changes and suspension of the service
- The Developer may change the service and prices, and will announce important changes in advance.
- All or part of the service (for example, free previews) may be paused because of maintenance, outages, AI provider problems, or cost spikes. We will try to keep delivering final photos for paid photos.
- If the service ends, we will announce it in the App 30 days in advance.
13. Limitation of liability
- The Developer is not liable for damage caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, network failures, or outages of third-party services (Apple, Cloudflare, OpenAI, and others), except in cases of the Developer's intent or gross negligence.
- The Developer is not liable for damage caused by a user's breach of these terms or improper use of results.
14. Personal information
Personal information is handled under the separate Privacy Policy, which is also available in the App's Settings and on the App Store page.
15. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- The Developer and users will try to resolve disputes in good faith. If that fails, disputes go to the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
